Christine Light lives in Florida, where she co-leads a twice-monthly poetry workshop, serves as the founding chair of the Publications Committee for the Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation, and leads workshops for local writers. She also works as a mental health coach. Christine’s poetry has been published in The Shore, Little Patuxent Review, and Cetera. Her short fiction won Globe Soup’s 2021 Flash Fiction Competition as well as their eighth 7-Day Story Writing Challenge. She has a craft essay published in Assay: A Journal of Nonfiction Studies, and she is currently working on a poetry manuscript and an essay collection. Christine formerly served as the Lead Poetry Editor and Lead Copy Editor at Revolute and holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Randolph College.
